After his victory over Leonidas (300), the Persian army led by Xerxes march towards the big cities to conquer Greece.
On the other hand there is the figure of General Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) that will unite all the kingdoms of Greece to destroy Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro). But Xerxes was not easy to beat, he has plans for an attack to Greece which was led by a cruel woman named Artemisia (Eva Green).
Artemisia is very loyal to Xerxes and will continue to fight tooth and nail and do anything to help Xerxes. But the leadership of the Greek army, General Themistocles, also not to be outdone by Artemisia and his army.
